Alexis Baxter is a dedicated advocate in the fight against alopecia, combining her professional expertise with a heartfelt mission to raise awareness and support for those affected by hair loss. As a State Board Licensed Cosmetologist, Certified Hair Loss Practitioner, and Non-Surgical Hair Replacement Specialist, Alexis brings a wealth of knowledge to her work.
Her own experience with hair loss due to Hashimoto’s Thyroid Disease deepened her commitment to helping others facing similar challenges. In 2007, she founded COSSET BEAUTY LOUNGE, which evolved into PHILLY HAIR HEALER at COSSET BEAUTY LOUNGE—a hybrid salon and hair restoration center dedicated to providing specialized care for men and women suffering from alopecia.
This year, Alexis is proudly participating in the NAAF Alopecia Walk to raise critical funds and awareness for alopecia research, education, and resources. Her goal is to raise $1,000 to support the National Alopecia Areata Foundation’s mission to improve the lives of those impacted by this autoimmune condition.
Alexis believes that through community support and education, we can empower individuals living with alopecia to embrace their journey with confidence and hope. She invites you to join her in this fight by supporting her fundraising efforts at the upcoming walk.
